Welcome to Early Discoveries Early Education Center!
Early Discoveries is set in a Christian atmosphere of warmth, love and self-worth in an education based environment. A high quality learning program designed where children are free to explore, discover and create. Meeting the growth & development of the children and providing a well-established education program.
Our Early Education Center provides programs for children 1 to 5 years old. From time to time we have the honor of a few school agers before and after school and during school holidays.
Children are our primary focus and commitment. This commitment is reflected in our program. It is because of this commitment that we never stand still. We continue to search for ways to improve on what we are doing for your child.
What We Do
Early Discoveries uses a curriculum designed to develop the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of young children. Focusing on kindergarten readiness while increasing self-help, language and social skills. Pre-reading, math and reasoning skills are also expanded. Assessments are done three times during the school year to help track children’s learning development. Environments are set up where children can explore, learn and discover at their own developmental level.

Pictures of our facility
It all started with a dream of one day moving my in home child care/ preschool and opening up our own center where my husband and I could work together making a difference in our community and children’s lives. This facility was designed and created by my husband and I to take in account above minimum requirements. The state of Washington likes to call it “Best Practices”. When we designed Early Discoveries we took in account three important factors. 1 – What is important to the child in care. 2 – What is important to the parents and families. 3 – What is important to the care givers. We are all about a harmonious atmosphere where everyone gets what they need. Visit the link below for a video of our rooms.

When designing our building we had to take into consideration more than a few factors. Where the walls, plumbing and doors were when we arrived in the beginning. We needed specific items to meet local and state agency standards not to mention the Department of Early Learning minimum licensing requirements. We wanted to design this building meeting and exceeding all of these requirements.
We added an egress. This egress was designed to transition children out of the building into the outdoor play area without interfering with other classrooms. Every room has an exit for the ease of children and staff.
The Bio-Matic entry was added to the front door for added security for your child and our staff. We love our Wenatchee Valley and do not fear our safety. This entry just sets a more safer standard in the childcare industry.
