About Early Discoveries

Our Story
Early Discoveries began as a small in-home preschool and childcare program and quickly grew into the center it is today. From the very beginning, our goal has been to create more than just a childcare setting — we built an environment designed to go above and beyond minimum licensing requirements to truly support children, families, and educators.
At Early Discoveries, childcare and preschool are seamlessly combined into one nurturing, engaging experience. Children enjoy long, uninterrupted blocks of play, hands-on thematic exploration, and developmentally appropriate small-group learning. This balanced approach supports the whole child — socially, emotionally, and academically — while still honoring the importance of childhood.
Children truly experience the best of both worlds: a caring environment where they feel safe and supported, and rich early learning experiences that build the foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
Our Priorities
Our program is guided by three essential priorities that make a lasting difference in the lives of children:
-
What is important to the child in our care
-
What is important to parents and families
-
What is important to caregivers and teachers
By honoring all three, we create a harmonious atmosphere where children feel secure, families feel supported, and educators can do their best work.
Our Environment & Philosophy
Early Discoveries is set in a Christian atmosphere of warmth, love, and self-worth within an education-based environment. We believe children learn best when they feel valued, confident, and safe to explore the world around them.
Strong early learning experiences lay the foundation for a successful future. We provide a high-quality environment where children are free to explore, learn, and discover. Through meaningful experiences, children begin to make sense of their world and find their place within it.
The early years are a critical time for brain development. The experiences children have now shape how they think, learn, and grow. That is why our program is intentionally designed to support the whole child.
Our Curriculum & Focus
Our curriculum supports the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of young children. We focus on:
-
Kindergarten readiness
-
Self-help and independence skills
-
Language development
-
Social skills and emotional growth
-
Early literacy (pre-reading skills)
-
Early math and reasoning skills
Learning happens through play, discovery, interaction, and guided experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving.
Our Commitment
Children are our primary focus and commitment. This commitment is reflected in every part of our program. We never stand still — we continually look for ways to improve, grow, and provide the very best for the children and families we serve.
At Early Discoveries, we are not only caring for children today — we are helping build the foundation for their future.
